About Your Hunt

You will have a guided hunt on privately owned land.  The property you will be enjoying is primarily managed for the owners or hunting clubs personal hunting except your weekend.  The type of terrain you hunt will vary from clear-cut and replanted pines to farm land, hardwood bottoms, rye and wheat fields.  You will be hunting in Barbour County, Bullock Country, and Pike County.  All three counties rank in the Top 10 deer hutning counties in Alabama.  Thousands of deer are taken annuall in each of these counties.  The dates set for your hunt coincide with the peak rut in our area.  Alabama's bag limit is one of the most liberal limits in the nation, so be sure to bring your big cooler to pack your venison.  There will aslo be a free shoulder mount to the largest buck killed on the school hunt. 

Schedule

Our starting point will be at Dixie Academy School in Louisville, Friday, January __ at 10 a.m. Central time.  There you will team up with guides and acquire proper licensing.  Your hunt will be two days, starting Friday afternoon on January __ of 2012 and ending on Sunday morning the 16th.  Saturday will be morning and afternoon hunting.
